The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is India's comprehensive education reform framework approved by the Government of India. It mandates that every college and university student participate in community engagement and service activities as part of their academic curriculum. This is a requirement for degree completion.
The CEP is a structured volunteering platform at ISKCON Chowpatty's Sri Sri Radha Gopinath Temple. It enables college students to fulfill their mandatory community service obligations under NEP 2020 by participating in traditional seva (selfless service) activities at the temple.
Any college or university student who needs to fulfill their NEP 2020 community service requirement. You need:
A seva poll is how sevas are assigned. The admin creates a poll for a specific seva (e.g., "Prasad Distribution — Saturday Morning") and shares the link with students. You open the link, sign in with Google, and confirm that you're available. The admin then reviews all responses and manually allots the seva to selected students.
Each poll has a deadline — you must respond before it closes. After the deadline, the poll stops accepting responses.
On your assigned seva day, you upload 5 geotagged photos from your phone:
Each photo must be taken within 200 metres of the temple using your phone's camera (no gallery uploads). The system verifies your GPS location automatically. The admin reviews your photos and approves or flags attendance.
The Rs. 100 one-time registration fee covers administrative costs of the program. You can pay via:
Your registration is finalized only after payment is confirmed.
No. Students are expected to rotate across different seva types during their time in the program. Repeating a seva occasionally is fine, but you should experience multiple types of service. The admin can see your full seva history when allotting, and will ensure fair rotation.
"Seva is not a service. It is a sacred offering."
